SIZE:
Cole has excellent size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 195 lbs. He stands out among the others on the field. Playing at a higher level than the competition. Throws with a tall platform, displaying good vision downfield. Has an over the top delivery which adds lift to his throws.
ACCURACY:
His throwing mechanics are sound and consistent. Able to square up as he pivots in the direction of his receivers prior to delivery. His timing and anticipation of his receivers routes help to up his accuracy with good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Cole has a strong vertical passing game, capable of extending the field. Throws made of high velocity at short/intermediate range.
RELEASE:
A over the top delivery with full extension. Can tighten things up with a compact delivery when needed. High release point for added height to his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Cole's an athletic QB, and for a player of his size, he does a nice job getting to the outside with good quickness and footwork. Good rotational spin as he squares up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
He’s comfortable either in the pocket or on the go, it really doesn't make a difference for this QB. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
POISE:
A mature QB who plays at a higher level than his competition. Played JV this past season as he waits patiently for his opportunity as the Varsity QB1. He will be among the top '26 QB's coming out of Louisiana.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of the space around him, able to pick up on defensive pressure with the ability to step up or move laterally.
DECISION MAKING:
His throws are made with good judgment, delivering quick strikes, allowing the defense minimal time to react.
TOUCH:
An area of major strength for Cole is his ability to create a softer release when needed. Getting the ball over zone coverage or laying it out on a bubble screen. Tight trajectory on his deep passes.
