SIZE:
Cole has good size for a 2029 Pro Style QB at 5’5" 116 lbs. This QB works methodically as he tears apart a defense. Excellent throwing mechanics with consistent delivery leads to his high accuracy rate. Sound fundamentals.
ACCURACY:
He’s right on the mark with his throws. A throwing motion with minimal variability. Sets up evenly prior to delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
I don't see much of any flaws in his passing game. Despite being a younger QB, strength in arm is not lacking. He's able to make all throws at every level. Vertical game is solid, able to extend the field.
THROW ON RUN:
Does a nice job getting to the outside with throws made with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Cole works well in the backfield with good mobility and agility. Not considered a Dual Threat but can take the ball in for short yardage gain.
POISE:
Displays control of the offensive unit. Confident in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to be aggressive with his throws.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience, able to sit back and wait for the play to develop. He shows good awareness of the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who makes the right call based on coverage. Works well through his receiver options, processing the information quickly.
TOUCH:
His throws include a soft touch along with tight trajectory. Velocity adjustments, depending on the passing situation.
