Collyn has good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5'3" 112 lbs. Good mobility within the pocket, creating added space for himself. Should be able to add to his size over these next couple years prior to entering the high school level.
ACCURACY:
This is an area of strength for Collyn. His throws are in-line with his receivers with good timing and ball placement. He can pick apart a defense with his ability to spot openings within zone coverage.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can sling the rock into tight windows of space. High velocity throws at short range while extending the field with his vertical game.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Good body rotation as he squares up to his receivers. Strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good lateral movement while creating additional space for himself. Sets up with good balance and stride.
POISE:
An area of strength. He’s very calm under pressure, showing good patience. A confident QB who trusts in his abilities.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Maintains his composure while executing the play. Will add to this trait with more game experience.
DECISION MAKING:
His accuracy is helped by his ability to locate his best option receiver, making the right call and hitting the mark quickly. Very good at working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
A strong armed QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for a softer toss.
