Colton has very good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 181 lbs. Excellent mobility within the pocket, able to escape pressure while maintaining his focus downfield. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to the ball’s trajectory. A playmaker on the field, able to improvise on the go.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made in-line with his receivers with tight rotational spin. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Consistent throwing motion, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
Strong throws made at every level. Solid vertical passing game, extending the field beyond coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where he's most dangerous, attacking the defense. Colton's an athletic QB who shows good quickness and speed getting to the outside. He works well through his rotation as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Does a nice job getting his feet in the proper positioning prior to release.
POISE:
Shows good awareness of incoming pressure, able to work within the space around him. He’s a confident QB with the ability to lead his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays good agility within the pocket, able to step up or move laterally when space is limited.
DECISION MAKING:
He makes good initial judgment on his delivery as he locates his primary target. Does a nice job working from his primary targets to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
One of Colton's strong QB attributes is his ability to deliver a pass with a soft touch. As he works on his arm strength, it’ll make for a nice complement to his game. The ability to make the proper adjustments within the velocity of his delivery.
