SIZE:
Conner has very good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 155 lbs. He sits in the pocket with a tall platform. Good length with a fully extended release, giving his throws added height. He should be able to add bulk to his tall frame over these next few years.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target with his receivers, hitting them in-line whether he’s stationary or on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to generate increased momentum upon his release. Gets the ball to his intended target in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Conner has an over the top delivery with a high release point. It comes across at three quarters with a compact delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
A lengthy QB who gets to the outside with good quickness in step. A long stride runner. Squares up while getting fixed on his target prior to set up.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area of continuous improvement. I see Conner perfecting his skills as a Dual Threat, combining his throwing ability with his running ability. He’s an athletic QB who shows good lateral mobility and quickness. Runs a 4.79/40.
POISE:
Able to settle in while locking down on his target. He’s gaining confidence in his abilities as a QB, trusting in his skills.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket. He works well in all directions, displaying lateral swing.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws at long distance. He’ll be able to work on touch improvements on his short and intermediate game, while adding a softer touch.
