SIZE:
Connor has very good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 195 lbs. He throws include a fully extended arm motion, adding height to his throws. He can hurt a defense in so many ways, whether in the pocket or on the run. Should be able to add bulk to his frame prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. Tight spiral delivery that get to his receivers with good ball placement. Doesn't lose much on accuracy while on the run. Very good vision, timing and ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Connor's a strong armed QB, able to hit in all areas of the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space of zone coverage or open up the field with his solid vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
A left-handed QB with sound throwing mechanics. A high release which comes across over the top with a fully extended arm motion. Very good footwork prior to his set up, good spacing and balance.
THROW ON RUN:
Doesn’t lose much while on the run. His throws are still on time and on target. Gets to the outside in a hurry with his speed and quickness, while firing the ball towards his target.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good athleticism on the field, able to do just about anything. A playmaker who can improvise while on the go. Good burst of speed into the secondary with a quick first step, creating separation. Runs a 4.7/40.
POISE:
Displays good control of his offensive unit while leading them down the field. He’s a confident QB who trusts in his abilities. Not easily fazed by the noise around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s skilled at moving around in the backfield, able to create space for himself. He’s dangerous while on the run, many weapons in his arsenal.
DECISION MAKING:
Connor's does a nice job working through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
His deep passes include tight trajectory with just enough air. Able to soft toss the ball over zone coverage at intermediate range.
