SIZE:
Connor has good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 190 lbs. He works the entire backfield with good laterally movement as he works to create added space for himself. Shows good vision as he surveys the field, making throws that include a high release.
ACCURACY:
When he able to set up properly prior to delivery, he’s right on the mark. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. Able to maintain consistency while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
He gets good height and distance on his throws. With a long arm extension, he’s able to get the ball over defensive coverage. Strong throws made at short and intermediate range. Solid vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, along with an arm motion that’s fully extended. His release point is raised above, giving his throws extra lift.
THROW ON RUN:
This is Connor's area of strength. He uses the entire field well by getting to the outside quickly. Displays good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Displays good body rotation and feet placement as he squares up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Very good movement in either direction in the backfield. He shows good agility as he works to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
Shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. Stays focused on the play while avoiding the pressure around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure as well as the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
While on the go, Connor's able to zone in on his best option receiver. He a quick hitting QB, who wastes very little time connected with his target. Will work to improve on going through his progressions with more game experience.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job added a soft touch to his passes made at the intermediate and long range
