Scouting Report

Cooper has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’0” 185 lbs. He has all of the skills required to become an elite QB. He controls the pace of the game with his play. Controls the pocket with a calm aggressiveness, attacking the defense at every opportunity.
He leaves very little room for deviation on his delivery. Its very consistent on every throw, hitting his mark with high velocity throws made with precision.
He can let it rip at short range or let it fly at long distances, 40-50 yds out. This allows for him to open up the field, taking advantage of short yardage situations. High velocity throws that can slice up a defense.
A fully extended arm motion coming from all the way back. Building up momentum as it comes across the top, generating accelerated speed.
He's very difficult to contain in the pocket. Able to get to the outside with very good quickness and mobility. Does a nice job squaring up with his receivers.
Very active feet in the pocket, always moving. A quick first step in all directions. Very good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
Cooper controls the tempo of the game with his play. He’s a playmaker that the defense has to focus on at all times. He can hurt you with his arm or can take it in as he breaks through the defense.
He throws with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field for potential targets. There is no distance that he can’t hit on. Able to pick up on defensive pressure as he works his way around traffic.
Cooper does a great job working through his progressions. He locks in on his primary target and then sways towards his secondary outlets. Very good reads as he takes advantage of defensive weaknesses.
Very good touch at every level. He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws when the passing situation calls for it.
