SIZE:
Corey has good size for a 2029 Pro Style QB at 5'9" 140 lbs. He shows good patience in the pocket while waiting for the play to develop. Throws with a high release point, giving the ball added lift.
ACCURACY:
This QB is right on the mark with his delivery. Minimal variation throughout his arm motion. Very good at picking up the timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
A deceiving passer who can turn it up with increased acceleration. His throws are made with increased velocity, getting the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
A fully extended arm motion which comes out from over the top. Proper footing prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN
Corey's most comfortable in the pocket but can be very productive out in the open field. He maintains the same consistency and velocity on his throws outside the pocket.
POISE:
Very calm demeanor within the pocket as he works to assess the coverage. He doesn’t let the outside noise take himself away from his game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Corey works at his best. He’s calm under pressure as he seeks out high percentage opportunities downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience, he'll continue to add to his game by working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on his throws that are made within coverage and well as on the deeper routes. Just enough air underneath.
