SIZE:
Damarion has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5’10" 195 lbs. He plays well above the level of competition. An athletic QB who transitions well from a pocket passer to a dual threat. Very agile within the pocket with quickness and speed to the outside.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with a tight spiral, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Threw for a 72% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with no time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over defensive coverage. Would like to see a tighter trajectory at longer distances.
RELEASE:
Damarion's throws include an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. Getting the ball across quickly with strong forward momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Very athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the outside. He's a pure dual threat who can shift gears in a hurry. Displays very good vision downfield while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
This is an area of strength for Damarion. Very difficult to contain within the pocket while being elusive out in the open field. His steps are sharp and his movement is smooth. Shows very good speed, with separation bursts.
POISE:
Damarion's very confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Reacts quickly when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
Touch:
He does a good job adjusting the velocity of his passes. Can add a tighter trajectory at longer range.
