SIZE:
Daniel has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 195 lbs. Stands tall in the pocket. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with an extended platform. Should continue to add bulk to his lengthy frame over the next few years.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Displaying excellent ball location, allowing his receivers to make a play on it.
ARM STRENGTH:
Has the ability to make throws with high velocity, getting the ball to his receivers in a hurry. He can make deep passes with ease, extending defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Daniel throws the ball with a fully extended arm motion that comes from over the top. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when the space is limited around him.
THROW ON RUN:
He displays good quickness out in the open field, while rotating his body as he lines up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Daniel’s an athletic QB who shows good mobility around the pocket. Not classified as a Dual Threat but could be used in short yard situations.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB, shows great patience while waiting for his receivers breaks. He’s a leader on the field, as he works to guide his offensive unit downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows a good awareness of incoming pressure, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
A very intelligent QB who displays good judgment when locating his primary target downfield. Able to assess the defensive coverage and throw a strike to his receiver. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Daniel. Has the quality of adding a soft touch on his throws with the ability to make the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws.
