Daniel has excellent size for a 2030 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 165 lbs. An athletic QB who has many weapons at his disposal. A tall presence in the backfield with very good vision downfield. Plays well above to level of competition.
ACCURACY:
His throwing mechanics are sound and consistent. Squares up as he pivots in the direction of his receivers. His timing and anticipation of his receivers routes help in his accuracy with good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws, able to fire it into tight windows of space within the secondary as well as extending the field with long throws made downfield.
RELEASE:
A over the top delivery that comes across quickly. High release point which adds lift to his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Works to the outside with good quickness and vision. He’s very dangerous out in the open field.
FOOTWORK:
Difficult to contain within the backfield. Constantly on the go, not giving the defense a chance to pin him down. Very agile with good speed and elusiveness.
POISE:
He’s a playmaker and a true competitor on the field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of the space around him, able to pick up on pressure with escapability.
DECISION MAKING:
His throws are made with good judgment, delivering quick strikes, allowing the defense minimal time to react.
TOUCH:
Gets the ball over zone coverage with a soft toss. Tight trajectory on his deep passes.
