SIZE:
Danny has excellent size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’3” 212 lbs. He has college ready size with still another year to develop into his frame. This QB's the complete package, sound throwing mechanics, highly accurate and he understands the game. Very durable in the pocket with lower body strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are almost always on the mark. Able to set up in the pocket as he surveys the field seeking out big play opportunities. Very consistent delivery adding to his accuracy. Good anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws made throughout the field. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry, giving the defense no time to react. Able to generate increased momentum through his arm motion. Legit vertical passing game with bombs made downfield.
THROW ON RUN:
Danny works well from a pocket passer to dual threat, showing good mobility to the outside. Works best while working his way around the backfield, where he can tear apart a defense with his vision, strength and accuracy.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork on his dropbacks as well as his set ups. An athletic QB who shows good mobility for his size.
POISE:
He’s very calm while in the pocket, able to work through his progressions patiently. Shows confidence in his ability to lead his team downfield. Good feel of defensive pressure, able to side step for added space.
POCKET PRESENCE:
A tall presence in the backfield, able to see clearly over the line of scrimmage. He can hit in all areas of the field with strength in arm.
DECISION MAKING:
Very intelligent QB who works well through his progressions. Does a nice job seeking out his primary receivers and releasing the ball without hesitation.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Danny. Very good touch, especially at long range. He can lay a soft toss in between zone coverage, or fire it in with high velocity.
