SIZE:
Danny has very good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5'8" 120 lbs. He plays well above the level of competition. Very difficult to contain within the pocket. A strong runner who shows very good lower body strength, taking on would-be tacklers. Throws with a tall platform able to increase the extension of delivery.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. Will continue to add to his accuracy while improving his throwing mechanics and providing more consistency.
ARM STRENGTH
Good arm extension on his release, allowing for greater torque and momentum upon delivery. High velocity throws made at the short and intermediate range. Can work to add a tighter trajectory at long range.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery and a high release point. Will add to his footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Danny demonstrates good lateral movement and quickness getting to the outside. He's deadly on the run, able to connect with his target or can take it in for a long run.
FOOTWORK:
A strong running QB who very difficult to take down. Showing good vision while getting into open running lanes. Bursts of speed with separation potential.
POISE:
With more game experience and more opportunities to throw the ball, Danny will become more confident within the pocket. With his play, he controls the pace of the game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good vision in the pocket able to oversee the entire field. Very durable QB with lower body strength.
DECISION MAKING:
Does a good job making quick reads on his initial targets. With more game experience Danny will add to going through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of his throws, creating for a softer delivery. Will add a tighter trajectory at long range with greater arm strength.
