Darryon has excellent size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6’4” 215 lbs. This QB's gonna be trouble these next few years. A strong built with speed and quickness is a deadly combination. Super athletic with intelligence.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, hitting his targets in stride. Very good at following routes and anticipating location.
ARM STRENGTH:
Darryon throws darts all over the field. He’s a sniper when targeting routes over the middle, hitting his receivers with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field with his deep passes, getting them over the top.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, arm fully pulled back. Able to generate momentum and increased velocity throughout his arm motion. Good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Very dangerous out in the open field. Able to get to the outside with good speed and mobility. Does a nice job turning it up as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Darryon's super athletic who also runs track. He's difficult to contain within the backfield, good agility and escapability.
POISE:
He displays playmaking ability on the field. With his athleticism, he’s able to improvise while on the go. Good awareness of the pressure around him. Confident in his abilities as a QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes. He works quickly out from the gate, locating his targets while delivering strikes.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws, displaying what I call controlled aggressiveness, attacking the defense with smart throws.
TOUCH:
He’s able to lower the velocity of his throws, creating a softer release. Solid trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath.
