SIZE:
Davis has good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5’9" 125 lbs. This QB can hurt you in many different ways. He works well within the pocket but can also take it to the outside if needed. Throws with a high release point and extended arm motion for a higher ball delivery.
ACCURACY:
He’s right on the money with his throws, it doesn’t matter if they’re made from within the pocket or from the outside. Very consistent throwing motion and footwork prior to setup.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong throwing QB who can make all passes required of him. His short and intermediate passes include high velocity throws that get through the secondary in a hurry. Very good vertical passing game, able to extend the field with his arm strength.
THROW ON RUN:
Does a nice job getting to the outside of the pocket as he remains focused downfield for potential targets. His throws include strong forward momentum as he fires the ball in the direction of his receiver.
FOOTWORK:
He works well around the backfield, with good mobility and agility. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
POISE:
Davis displays good control of his offensive unit. Confident in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to be aggressive with his throws.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good patience in the backfield, able to sit back and wait for the play to develop. He shows good awareness of the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who makes the right call based on defensive scheme. Able to work through his receiver options in 7v7 play, processing the information quickly.
TOUCH:
Makes the right adjustments to his velocity depending on the passing situation.
