SIZE:
Dax has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 194 lbs. He plays well above the level of competition. His throws are effortless and his confidence is through the roof. Able to take over a game at any moment.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark with excellent ball placement. Gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. Tight rotational spin, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Threw for a 68% completion rate last season.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Dax. High velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with no time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
RELEASE:
Dax throws the ball with an over the top delivery. A fully extended arm motion, while getting the ball across quickly. Very good balance and stride on his dropbacks.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the open field. He can shift gears in a hurry, taking it in for a run. Shows excellent vision downfield while locking in on his target.
FOOTWORK:
His steps are sharp and his movement is smooth. Shows very good speed, with separation bursts.
POISE:
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment as a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
Touch:
He does a great job adjusting the velocity of his passes. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders.
