SIZE:
Demetrius has excellent size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 165 lbs. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the entire field with good height and vision. He’s a beast while on the run, able to mow down would-be tacklers with brute strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target and in-line with his receivers. He nails it at the short and intermediate range with sharp passing. He can work to tighten up on the trajectory of his delivery at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to fire in high velocity throws into tight windows of space or he can ease up for a softer delivery. Able to generate momentum with full extension, giving his throws longer range.
THROW ON RUN:
For a QB of his size, he shows good mobility to the outside of the pocket. Can work to add quickness in step. Very good vision downfield. Squares up nicely with his receivers with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB with his size can result in a very deadly combination. Good speed on the run, picking up chunks of yardage with longer stride.
POISE:
Demetrius is very confident in his abilities as a QB, a pocket passer with the ability to take off at any moment.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility within the pocket. A good sense of the space around him, working around traffic while improvising on the run.
DECISION MAKING:
A young QB who will continue to add to his game. Working through his progressions. Does a nice job picking up on his initial reads.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of his throws for added touch while also sneaking one in, between zone coverage.
