SIZE:
Dexter has good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5'6" 128 lbs. Works fluidly from a pocket passer to a dual threat. A strong running QB who takes on would be tacklers. Difficult to take down in the backfield with lower body strength.
ACCURACY:
He squares up evenly with his intended target while delivering a strike. His throws are on the mark with good placement, allowing for his receiver to make a play on it.
ARM STRENGTH::
Dexter can make any throw on the field. His throws are made with high velocity, but he can also take something off for a softer toss when needed.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a high release point. This gives added lift to its trajectory. Gets his feet set prior to delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Works well to the outside while maintaining his focus downfield. Lines up with his intentional target as he fires in the ball with tight rotational spin.
FOOTWORK:
Good elusiveness and mobility within the pocket. Able to create additional passing lanes.
POISE:
Very confident QB who's very comfortable either in the pocket or out on the run. A take charge player who leads by example.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility within the pocket, breaking away from incoming pressure. Good patience as he waits for the play to develop.
DECISION MAKING:
Dexter's able to pick up on his best option receiver. Has the ability to work through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength. Not only does he have a strong arm, he’s also able to ease off on it for a softer toss.
