SIZE:
Dominic has excellent size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6'4" 215 lbs. He’s a tall presence in the backfield, solid frame to allow for durability. He displays very good vision, able to see the entire field, from sideline to sideline. Throws with an over the top release, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
This is a major strength for Dominic. He’s very consistent with his delivery as well as his footwork prior to set up. Does a nice job anticipating his receivers route running, hitting them with good timing and ball placement. Sharp precision throws made throughout the field.
ARM STRENGTH:
With his size, comes a strong arm. Delivering bombs over coverage as well as high velocity throws made in tight windows of space.
RELEASE:
His throws come from over the top with a high release point, getting the ball up and over the line of scrimmage. Very good throwing mechanics which are consistent and rhythmic.
THROW ON RUN:
Dominic displays solid footwork getting to the outside as he sqaures up with his target. Would like to see a quicker first step as he gets out of the box.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good agility within the pocket, able to side step incoming pressure. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks. He can work to improve on the overall speed of his game.
POISE:
Strong confidence in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to take chances downfield. All League Offense.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a nice job picking up on defensive pressure, stepping up when needed. Very calm under pressure, not fazed by the noise around him.This QB knows how to locate his best option receivers on a given play. He does a nice job working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Another area of strength for Dominic. He’s able to create a soft release when sneaking the ball in between zone coverage. Sweet touch passes on fade routes.
