Scouting Report

SIZE:
Drew has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 210 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who works out of a spread formation. A very durable QB who can withstand defensive pressure as he works around the pocket. He’s a pure pocket passer, standing tall with good vision downfield.
ACCURACY:
Very accurate at the short and intermediate range. His throws are made with consistency and sound mechanics. Shows good anticipation of his receivers locations, demonstrating good timing and ball placement. Allows his receivers to make a play on the ball.Threw for a 68% completion rate.
ARM STRENGTH:
His passes include high velocity throws that get through the secondary in a hurry. He strikes quickly, allowing the defense very little time to react. Solid vertical passing game, with deep passes over coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
Drew's an athletic QB who can move around with good speed and footwork. He gets to the outside with balanced stride and quickness. Sets up nicely with his receivers as he squares up to them.
FOOTWORK:
Drew runs plays out of the pocket, serving as a dual threat in certain situations. He shows good speed and toughness.
POISE:
A confident QB who wasted very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Good sense of the space around his in the pocket.Selected on the Michigan All-State team, State Semi-Finalist.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He works quickly, hitting his targets with laser strikes within the short and intermediate range.
DECISION MAKING:
Working out of a spread formation allows Drew to read the defense prior to snap, picking up on opportunities downfield. A playmaker who can improvise on the go. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Shows good touch on his deep passes with a tight trajectory. Able to create a softer delivery at short and intermediate range.
