SIZE:
Drew has good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 190 lbs. He’s an athletic QB who’s a playmaker on the field. Recent transfer to Mt Paran, adjusted well to new offense/teammates.
ACCURACY:
His throws show good precision, hitting his receivers while in stride. His throws include a tight spiral, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to fire it into tight windows of space within the secondary with high velocity throws. Extends the field with bombs that are made with accuracy and touch.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a compact release which comes across in a hurry. He does a nice job adjusting the angles of his delivery when in tight spaces.
THROW ON RUN:
A very athletic QB who can get to the outside in a hurry. He’s a passer first, choosing to run as a last resort. Shows very good patience and calm.
FOOTWORK:
He’s got good speed and quickness while on the run. A Pro Style QB who can easily serve as a running QB when needed. Good spacing and stride on his set ups.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB, a strong leader on the field. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, stays focused and determined to complete the play.
DECISION MAKING:
He wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Decisive with his throws, showing good judgment and ball placement.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory on his deep passes, able to add touch to his vertical throws. Nice touch at the short and intermediate range.
