SIZE:
Drew has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’0” 185 lbs. He shows good vision downfield as he’s able to create space for himself, opening up additional passing lanes. He'll continue to add bulk to his frame over the next year before entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Shows good timing and ball placement, leading his receivers in stride. High percentage throws made at short range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made with high velocity at short and intermediate range. Can extend the field with long throws made downfield.
RELEASE:
Drew throws with an over the top delivery made with a fully charged arm motion that comes across quickly. He’s able to generate momentum all the way through his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good footwork and mobility as he gets to the outside. He’s able to square his body up with his intended target as he releases the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
A very athletic QB with quick steps on his drop backs, able to set up evenly with good balance prior to delivery. He demonstrates very good speed out in the open field.
POISE:
With more game experience, Drew continue to gain more confidence as he works to perfect his craft. Does a nice job serving as a Dual Threat QB, able to work fluidly from inside the pocket to the outside.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his focus while working his way through traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Drew's a quick hitting QB who picks up on his initial reads. Able to use the entire field as he hits his targets with decisive throws that get there in a hurry.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release. Whether it s bubble screen or a soft fade route downfield, he delivers with a sweet touch.
