SIZE
Dylan has good size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 187 lbs. He shows good toughness and elusiveness while on the run. Does a nice job keeping the play alive, a playmaker who's very competitive.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, with tight spiral and rotation. Good ball placement.Loses a bit of accuracy while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH
Very good arm strength, able to reach all areas of the field with good velocity. Able to squeeze the ball in tight areas of space. Solid vertical passing game with long throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
His throws are made with an over the top delivery at a fully extended arm motion. High release point, allowing for added height to his throws.
THROW ON RUN
This is where Dylan shows best in his abilities as a QB. Very good quickness and speed getting to the outside, serving as a Dual Threat, able to go in each direction, pass or run. Does a nice job getting his body aligned with his target.
FOOTWORK:
He shows very good footwork within the backfield, able to move laterally in either direction. He’s very active in the pocket and shows good speed and quickness out in the open field.
POISE:
Strong ability to lead his unit downfield. He’s very focused while executing the play fully. He controls the pace of the game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to pick up on defensive pressure. Works well around traffic, creating added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Quick reads picking up on his initial targets. He's a quick thinker while on the go.
TOUCH
Good touch on the ball at short and intermediate. Tight trajectory on throws at long range, allowing for less air underneath.
