SIZE:
Easton has excellent size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 195 lbs. A super athlete who excels in two sports, football and basketball. He plays well above the level of competition, capable of taking over a game. A tough running QB who punished would-be tacklers as he rolls over them. A raw talent who has a very high ceiling.
ACCURACY:
He throws with sharp precision, tight spiral delivery which are in-line with his receivers. Good accuracy at short and intermediate range. Good timing of his receivers routes. Will be able to up his accuracy with added consistency to his delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can let it rip, making throws of high velocity over the middle. Solid vertical passing game with long throws made downfield.
RELEASE:
A classic over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Increased acceleration throughout his arm motion for added strength.
THROW ON RUN:
A legit Dual Threat who can turn it up at any moment. Strong forward momentum while maintaining his focus in his target. Very good speed and quickness to the outside.
FOOTWORK:
Easton is very difficult to contain. Displays excellent speed and elusiveness out in the open field. Able to create separation with a burst of speed. Once he gets past you, its over.
POISE:
Easton has strong confidence in his abilities as a running QB. Would like to see more patience in the pocket, waiting for the play to develop before taking off.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good awareness of the space around him. Almost impossible for the defense to contain.
DECISION MAKING:
Good initial read on coverage, able to hit on his primary target with a bullet. Very decisive on his throws, wasting very little time.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who will learn to make the right adjustments on his velocity for a softer delivery.
