SIZE:
Easton has good size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 5’9" 150 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, able to do just about anything he wants against an opposing defense. His quickness allows him to use the entire backfield. He's got that "it" factor. He'll soon be an elite collegiate prospect.
ACCURACY:
Whether he’s sitting in the pocket or rolling out, Easton’s accuracy is still on the mark. Does a nice job getting his body in-line with his receivers. Threw for an 82% completion rate last season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to hit on all areas of the field. Strong throws made with increased velocity, especially at the short and intermediate range. Dangerous vertical passing game, extending the field with throws made at longer distance.
RELEASE:
A classic over the top delivery, which is fully extended and comes across quickly with increased acceleration.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Easton works best, out in the open field. He has so many weapons in his arsenal, able to switch from a passer to a runner at any given moment.
FOOTWORK:
Very good speed and quickness out in the open field. Displaying elusiveness and shiftiness and he maneuvers around the defense. Solid footwork on his drop backs and setups.
POISE:
A very confident QB who set the tone on the field with his ability to control the game. Very confident in his abilities to lead his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Difficult to contain in the backfield, showing excellent agility and movement. Picks up on pressure quickly while doing a nice job working away from it.
DECISION MAKING:
He gets the ball off in a hurry. Works all of his receiver options, locating the best opportunity for positive gain.
TOUCH:
Very nice touch pass for a Dual Threat QB, especially while on the run.
