SIZE:
Elijah has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 185 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who’s uses his height to be able to survey the field.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers with good timing and anticipation. Sharp precision throws over the middle with good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH
He shows very good arm strength, able to make throws of high velocity at short and intermediate range. He also has a legit vertical passing game that needs to be respected.
RELEASE:
Elijah throws with an over the top delivery, held back with a fully extended arm motion. Shows good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Good lateral movement getting to the outside as he works to pin down a target. Good body rotation as he squares up towards his receiver. Good forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
Very good agility in and around the pocket. He moves well laterally, while creating added space for himself. He shows good speed and quickness, can serve as a running QB. picking up chunks of yardage.
POISE:
Shows good patience as he waits for his receiver’s breaks on their routes. Playing at the varsity level this past season, Elijah has been able to gain confidence in his ability to lead at a higher level.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable as a pocket passer, skilled in his ability to throw the ball at certain locations, prior to the receiver making his cut. Does a nice job picking up defensive pressure.
