Elijah has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 185 lbs. A competitive QB who never gives up on a play. Very agile within the pocket, able to escape from traffic, creating added space.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with the ability for his receivers to make a play on it. They show good ball placement, up and away from the defender. Loses a bit while on the go.
ARM STRENGTH:
Elijah gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry. His short and intermediate throws are made with high velocity.
RELEASE:
Throws with a high release point, adding lift to his delivery. An over the top passer who works well to adjust the angle of delivery, getting the ball off in a hurry.
THROW ON RUN:
Good speed and quickness to the outside, able to locate his intended target as he squares up his body in-line with a strong delivery.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step moving in all directions. Great burst of speed and mobility while out in the open field. Creates separation from the defense.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure. Able to move in and out of traffic as he creates added space for himself.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable in the pocket, assessing the defense, while executing the play. Confident in his abilities as a passer and runner.
DECISION MAKING:
Hits on his primary targets with decisive passing. He’s able to work down from his primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Able to work the ball in between zone coverage with a softer delivery.
