SIZE:
Ethan has good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 160 lbs. He shows good vision downfield, able to create added space, opening up additional passing lanes. Will continue to develop as he progresses throughout his high school career.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Shows good timing and ball placement as he leads his receivers in stride. Will be able to up his accuracy by getting his footing down prior to delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays throws that are made with high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Able to extend the field with throws made over defensive coverage. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory of his throws made at longer distances.
RELEASE:
Ethan throws include an over the top delivery made with full arm extension. Increased acceleration, generating momentum throughout his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Good speed and mobility as he works to the outside. When he's able to square up with his receivers, he's right on the mark.
FOOTWORK:
A well balanced stride on his dropbacks. Very agile within the pocket as he works around traffic.
POISE:
With more game experience, Ethan will gain more confidence as he works to perfect his craft. He does a nice job serving as a Dual Threat QB, able to work, both within the pocket and outside.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his focus while patiently waiting for his receivers breaks.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s able to use the entire field as he hits his targets with decisive throws that get there in a hurry.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release. He can work to tighten up on the trajectory of his throws at longer distances.
