SIZE:
Ethan has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 189 lbs. This QB has that "it" factor. Unstoppable when the ball's in his hands. Capable of taking over a game by his play. This QB will soon have offers from the Power 5 schools. That's a given.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, with good location and timing. He’s able to maintain the accuracy of his throws while on the run. Sharp precision passing with throws made of tight spiral.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is an area of strength. His throws are sprayed throughout the field with high velocity throws made at short range along with bombs delivered downfield. Very dangerous vertical passing game with tight trajectory throws. Very difficult to stop since he can hurt you at all levels.
RELEASE:
His throws include an over the top delivery which comes from way back. A fully extended arm motion for added momentum, giving long range potential. Excellent throwing mechanics.
THROW ON RUN:
This is an area in which Ethan excels. He’s a pure Dual Threat who’s very dangerous while on the run. Able to work fluidly from a pocket passer to a dual threat.
FOOTWORK:
Another area of strength. He’s very elusive out in the open field. Displays bursts of speed and breakaway ability while getting through the secondary.
POISE:
He's as calm and confident as it gets. Thrives on playing in competitive situations, overcoming the chaos around him. A true leader.Hard to contain within the pocket because of his elusiveness and quickness. He does a nice job escaping from pressure, creating open space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinking QB who seeks out high percentage throws. Very good at working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Excellent touch on fade routes in the end zone. Works well to ease off the velocity of his delivery for added touch.
