SIZE:
Gabriel has good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 5'9" 170 lbs. Works out of a spread formation. A quick hitting QB who gets the ball off in a hurry.
ACCURACY:
His throwing mechanics are very consistent, making throws in-line with his receivers. Tight spiral. Connects with his best option receivers with good timing and ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Gabriel can light it up anywhere on the field. His throws are made of high velocity. Able to extend the field with bombs over the secondary.
RELEASE:
Throws with a fully extended arm motion. It comes from up over the top with a high release point. He shows solid footwork getting to his setup, with good balance and stride.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable within the pocket but can also work to the outside with good speed and quickness. Very good vision downfield as he works to the outside. Strong forward momentum upon his release. Well balanced stride on his drop backs. Very good lateral movement, with a quick first step.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB. Remains calm under pressure, following the play all the way through.Good mobility in and around the pocket. Able to feel the pressure around him as he works in and out of traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Quick initial reads leads to quick hitters downfield. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Gabriel's able to adjust the velocity of his throws, adding a softer delivery. Able to get the ball in between zone coverage.
