Scouting Report

SIZE:
Gage has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. This QB may be under the radar, but won't be much longer. He played at the varsity level last year as a Sophomore, poised for a huge upcoming Junior season. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the entire field with good height and vision. Delivers the ball with good height. Fully extended arm motion.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space to to set up, Gage is right on the mark. He nails it at the short and intermediate range with sharp precision passing. His deep passes include a tight tighter trajectory. Very consistent delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to fire in high velocity throws into tight windows of space or he can ease up for a softer delivery. Able to generate strong forward momentum with full extension, giving his throws longer range.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays excellent mobility getting to the outside of the pocket. Has a quick first step and along with long stride, can get there in a hurry. Excellent vision downfield. Squares up nicely with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
A very athletic QB, showing very good agility within the pocket. He displays very good quickness while on the go. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and set ups.
POISE:
He's a proven leader on the field. Very relaxed in the pocket, showing good patience as he follows through on the play. He’s got what it takes to become an elite QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility within the pocket. A good sense of the space around him with the ability to avoid traffic and improvise while on the run.
DECISION MAKING:
Gage is a very intelligent QB who understands the game. He does an excellent job working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Gage, he works best when having to adjust the velocity of his throws. Soft touch pass on fade routes and can also sneak one in between zone coverage. Sharp trajectory on his deep passes.
