SIZE:
Grady has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’5” 205 lbs. Throws with a tall platform, showing very good vision downfield. Has an over the top delivery which adds height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
Works well to square up as he pivots in the direction of his receivers prior to delivery. His timing and anticipation of his receivers routes helps up his accuracy with good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can get the ball out to his receivers at short and intermediate in a hurry with a compact delivery. Can work to include a fully extended arm motion for added range and velocity.
RELEASE:
A over the top delivery with a three quarter arm motion that comes across quickly. High release point for added height to his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Grady's an athletic QB for a player of his size, he does a nice job getting to the outside with good quickness and footwork. Able to square up with his intended target and a strong follow through.
FOOTWORK:
He’s most comfortable as a pocket passer but also shows good athleticism rolling to the outside. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
POISE:
Strong confidence in leading his team downfield. Will continue to develop as a elite QB with more game experience.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of the space around him, able to pick up on pressure with the ability to step up in the pocket or move laterally.
DECISION MAKING:
His throws are made with good judgment, delivering quick strikes, allowing the defense minimal time to react.
TOUCH:
Works well to to get the ball in between zone coverage. Adjusting the velocity of delivery for a softer release.
