Gradyn has very good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 155 lbs. A strong armed QB with athleticism who can turn it up at any given moment. As a versatile player, it makes him very difficult to defend. Stop his passing game, he'll beat you with his legs. His potential is through the roof.
ACCURACY:
Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Able to place the ball in reach of his targets, allowing them to make a play on it. Good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, reaching his receivers in a hurry. With a quick snap of the wrist, he’s able to gain momentum upon his delivery.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a high release point. Gradyn displays proper throwing mechanics with predictable consistency. Gets his feet set prior to delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of him as he seeks out a target. A legit threat who can turn it up at any moment. Dangerous out in the open field.
FOOTWORK:
Gradyn's very athletic, able to keep the play alive. Quick first step with good lateral movement.
POISE:
Very good patience as he waits for a play to develop. High marks with confidence.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very difficult to contain within the pocket. Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. With more game experience, Gradyn will be able to perfect his ability to work through his progressions.
TOUCH
Very good touch on his throws at every level; short, intermediate, and long. Reducing the air underneath on his throws at longer distance.
