Scouting Report

Hayden has very good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 180 lbs. He’s a gifted QB with the ability to serve as a pocket passer or as a dual threat. Very dangerous while on the field. A tall presence in the backfield with excellent vision downfield. Strong running QB who shows very good mobility within the pocket.
His throwing mechanics are sound and consistent. Able to square up as he pivots in the direction of his receivers prior to delivery. His timing and anticipation of his receivers routes help to up his accuracy with good ball placement.
Hayden has a rocket of an arm, able to squeeze it into tight windows of space within the secondary as well as extending the field with an impressive vertical passing game.
Hayden throws with an over the top delivery that comes across quickly with increased momentum. High release point for added height to his throws.
An athletic QB who's able to get to the outside with good quickness and vision. He’s very dangerous out in the open field.
Extremely difficult to contain within the pocket. Constantly on the move, not allowing the defense to pin him down. Very agile with good speed and quickness. Balanced stride on his dropbacks and set ups.
He’s a playmaker and a strong competitor on the field.
Good awareness of the space around him, able to pick up on defensive pressure with escapability. Does a nice job stepping up in the pocket.
His throws are made with good judgment, delivering quick strikes, allowing the defense minimal time to react. Gives his receivers a chance to make a play on the ball.
Able to create a softer release when needed. Getting the ball over zone coverage or in between. Solid trajectory on his long range throws.
