Scouting Report

Hunter has very good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 210 lbs. He’s a very athletic QB who can hurt a defense with a combination of his passing and running game. Strong competitor playing both sides of the field. Tough running QB.
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing good throwing mechanics and consistency. Does a nice job keeping the ball away from defenders, displaying good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
Hunter can hit all areas of the field with throws made at high velocity and long range. He's able to get the ball off in a hurry, not allowing the defense time to react to it. Quick hitters that get in between zone coverage and tight windows of space.
He throws with an over the top delivery with a high release point, giving his throws added lift. Does a nice job making the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws when working with limited space. Solid footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
An athletic QB who’s able to work to the outside in a hurry. He does a very good job rotating his body and aligning himself with his intended target. Strong froward momentum upon his release.
He’s a very mobile QB, who can get out of the set position in a hurry with a quick first step. Hunter's a very capable running QB, able to take on defenders. Very defined steps on his drop backs and set ups.
Very calm under pressure as he works to locate his receiver. Confident in his abilities as a QB, able to mix it up, serving as a playmaker on the go.
Good feel for the space around him, able to weave around traffic while creating space for himself. Very good agility in and out of the pocket.
Makes good on initial reads, hitting his primary targets with decisive throws. Will continue to work through his progressions, going from primary to secondary outlets.
Hunter delivers the ball with a soft release at short and intermediate range. His deep passes include a tight trajectory with just enough air underneath.
