Scouting Report

Jace has good size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 165 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket with a lengthy body frame. Long arm extension, allowing for added height. Gets out of the box in a hurry, wasting very little time getting after it. Seeks out big play opportunities downfield. Should be able to add bulk to his frame prior to entering college.
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with a tight spiral, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very consistent with his delivery, adding to his accuracy.
High velocity throws made throughout the field. Full acceleration upon release. He can zip the ball in tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
Jace throws the ball with an over the top delivery which is fully extended, generating momentum. Soild feet placement prior to set up for added accuracy.
Very athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the outside, able to seek out potential targets. Shows excellent vision downfield as he squares up with his intended target.
Difficult to contain within the pocket while displaying elusiveness out in the open field. His steps are sharp and his movement is smooth. A long stride running QB.
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a play maker.
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. He's relentless while attcking a defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
Able to adjust the velocity of his throws for added touch. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders.
