Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jack has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'8" 130 lbs. He’s a strong running QB who takes on would be tacklers for additional yardage.
ACCURACY:
He does a nice job getting the ball to his receivers. His throws are on target with good placement, allowing for the receiver to make a play on it.
ARM STRENGTH::
Makes the throws required of him, mostly at short and intermediate range. He can work to improve in this area, adding higher velocity throws made with increased acceleration.<
RELEASE:
Jack throws with an over the top delivery with a three quarter extension. Adding a full extension would add to the strength of his throws. Delivers the ball with a high release point. Able to give added height on his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Good quickness getting to the outside, while still maintaining his focus downfield. Would like to see him get his feet set prior to prior to release. This would add to his accuracy. He tends to be off balanced on a few throws.
FOOTWORK:
Above average speed with good elusiveness and mobility. He can work to improve on his footwork with the pocket, creating a more fluid motion.
POISE:
Able to work from a Pocket Passer to a Dual Threat quite easily. He’s comfortable in either role. With more game experience will come added confidence.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility within the pocket, able to break away from pressure. I would like to see him stay in the pocket longer as he waits for the play to develop.
DECISION MAKING:
Jack does a nice job picking up on his best option receiver. He can work on going through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Jack. He’s also able to ease off on it, for a softer delivery, especially effective on the bubble screen plays.
