SIZE:
Jack has good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 182 lbs. Stands tall in the pocket, showing good vision of the entire field. He throws with a high release point, adding height to his throws. Versatile QB who can stand in as pocket passer or delivery a strike on the run. Throws with a high release point, adding lift to the ball.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, on target and in-line with his receivers when he's able to set up properly. Displays good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes with good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jack throws the ball with a quick flip of the wrist and increased momentum during his follow-through. High velocity throws which get to his receivers in a hurry. Throws made at long range made with tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
His throwing motion is consistent, including an over the top delivery with a tight compact release that gets across quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
Good mobility to the outside, as he maintains his vision downfield. Solid rotation of body.
FOOTWORK:
Very agile in and around the pocket, showing the ability to move laterally in either direction. Good balance and stride on his dropbacks, can work to settle in prior to set up.
POISE:
He shows strong confidence in his abilities as a QB. With more game experience, he’ll continue to develop into a legit varsity QB1.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good patience within the pocket, allowing for the play to develop. Not easily distracted from the noise around him.
DECISION MAKING:
This will be an area of strength for Jack, he does a nice job locating his initial target as well as seeking opportunities downfield.
TOUCH:
He’s able to ease off the velocity of his throws, adding a softer release when needed.
