Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jack has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 185 lbs. He throws the ball with a fully extended delivery and high release point, giving added height on delivery. Works well in the pocket for greater visibility.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers routes with good ball placement. Good anticipation of his receivers routes. His completion rate this season, 70%, helped by a consistent throwing motion.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jack's able to make all of the required throws with good velocity. Quick hitters made throughout the field. His vertical game is solid, able to stretch the field with deep passes over the secondary.
RELEASE:
Jack's throws come across from a side arm delivery. He's able to adjust the angle of his delivery when space is limited. Excellent footing prior to setup.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good mobility while working to the outside. Nic work squaring up with his receivers while hitting his targets on the go.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a long stride running QB who can pick up yards in a hurry. Shows good mobility and balance while on the run. Well balanced stride on his drop backs and in pocket lateral movement.
POISE:
A manger on the field who's in full controll of the offnsive unit. Displays calm and patience in the pocket as he waits for his receivers' breaks.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a nice job avoiding incoming pressure, setting up in the pocket, while creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Jack, he works well through his progressions, going from primary to secondary outlets. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
He’s able to take off something on his short and intermediate throws, creating a softer touch when needed. Tight trajectory.
