SIZE:
Jacob has good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 185 lbs. I love how this QB plays, goes all out with controlled aggressiveness. He stands tall in the pocket, firing bullets into the secondary for his intended targets. Displays toughness while being able to sit in the pocket with good patience or maneuver around for added space.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with tight rotational spin, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very consistent with his delivery, adding to his accuracy. Threw for a 75% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Jacob. High velocity throws which gets to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with no time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery. A fully extended arm motion, while getting the ball across quickly. Minimal variation in his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Very athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the open field. He serves as a legit dual threat who can shift gears in a hurry. Excellent vision downfield while on the run, shifty and elusiveness.
FOOTWORK:
This is an area of strength for Jacob, as he’s very difficult to contain within the pocket while being elusive out in the open field. His steps are sharp and his movement is smooth.
POISE:
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
TOUCH:
He does a great job adjusting the velocity of his passes. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders.
