Jacob has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 209 lbs. Displays the ability to clear himself from traffic, creating additional passing lanes for himself. Excellent vision downfield while picking apart the defense.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. Fundamental sound throwing mechanics along with consistency. Can work to up his accuracy with more higher percentage throws.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays high velocity throws made over the middle, connecting with his receivers with darts in between zone coverage. He can hit all areas of the field with good range. Strong vertical passing game, extending the field while seeking out other opportunities at short range.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Jacob's a pure pocket passer who displays good quickness to the outside while on the run. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride. Strong forward momentum on his release.
FOOTWORK:
Displasy good agility in and around the pocket. Precise footing and spacing on his dropbacks.
POISE:
Very comfortable in the pocket. Works well to avoid pressure while maintaining his focus downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience while executing the play. He does a nice job locating his best option receiver.
DECISION MAKING:
Very focused while going through his progressions. Able to check down from one target option to another.

He's a strong passer who's also able to make the right adjustments on velocity to add a softer touch when needed.
