SIZE:
Jacob has good size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 5'10" 167 lbs. He shows good patience in the pocket, as he waits for the play to develop. Delivers the ball with a high release point, giving his throws added height.
ACCURACY:
This QB is almost always right on the mark. Very consistent delivery, allowing for minimal variation in his arm motion. Very good at picking up the timing and anticipation of his receivers routes. Threw for a 70% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
A very deceiving passer who can turn it up with increased acceleration throughout his delivery. His throws are made with increased velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Fully extended arm motion which comes out from over the top. A high release point, giving his passes added height.
THROW ON RUN
Jacob is most comfortable within the pocket but can also work it to the outside. Squares up with his intended target.
POISE:
Very calm demeanor as he works to assess coverage. He doesn’t let the outside noise take him away from his game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Jacob works best. He’s calm under pressure, while displaying consistency on his throws and good vision downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
Quick initial reads, picking up on his primary target. With more game experience he'll continue to improve on working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
An area of strength. Good adjustment to the velocity of his delivery for added touch.
