I was blessed to be given talent, size and speed from God. I'm a multi-sport athlete, a fierce competitor, I hate to lose---at anything. I am calm, even under the toughest pressure I want the ball. I love to train and I love the preparation and time spent with my teams before and after our games as much as the game itself. I will do anything to help my team achieve its goals. My personal goal is to play football at an FBS/FCS college after I graduate high school. I am driven to make this happen.

Scouting Report

SIZE:
Jacob has excellent size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’4” 205 lbs. Plays well above the competition. He works the entire backfield, with good laterally movement in either direction. Shows good vision as he surveys the field, making passes that include a high release point.
ACCURACY:
He sets up well in the pocket, able to create a consistent deliver. His throws are in-line with his receivers, with sharp precision passes over the middle.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jacob gets good height and distance on his throws. With his long arm extension, he’s able to get the ball over defensive coverage. Strong throws with high velocity made at the short and intermediate range. A deadly vertical passing game used to extend the field.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, along with an arm motion that’s fully extended. His release point is raised above, giving his throws extra lift.
THROW ON RUN:
Jacob uses the entire field well, by getting to the outside quickly, displaying good vision and ability to follow his receivers routes. Good body rotation and feet placement as he squares up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
For his size, he demonstrates excellent movement in either direction in the backfield. Categorized as a Dual Threat, he shows good quickness out in the open field. A long stride runner, picking up chunks of yardage. He shows good agility as he works to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
Good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, while staying focused on the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure and well as the space around him. A tall presence in the backfield with good vision.
DECISION MAKING:
While on the go, Jacob's able to zone in on his best option receiver. He a quick hitting QB, who wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Will work to improve on going through his progressions as he enters the high school level, perfecting his craft.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job added a soft touch to his passes made at the intermediate and long range. Solid trajectory on his deep passes. Can work to add a softer delivery at short range.
