SIZE:
Jacob has very good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. Has a strong built with good durability. He stands tall in the pocket with very good throwing mechanics.
ACCURACY:
His throws include sharp precision, connecting with his receivers while in stride. Tight rotational spin, getting the ball to his receivers in a hurry. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jacob has a rocket of an arm. Fires the ball into tight windows of space with high velocity throws. Extends the field with long throws at tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with an arm extension held way back. Able to adjust the angle of his delivery when the situation calls for it.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can get to the outside with speed and quickness. He’s a passer first, choosing to run as a secondary option. Displays patience and calm.
FOOTWORK:
Can serve as a running QB in short yardage situations. Good spacing and stride on his set ups.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB, a strong leadership on the field. Stays focused and determined to complete the play.
DECISION MAKING:
He wastes very little time getting the ball off. Decisive with his throws, showing good judgment. Works well through his progressions in 7v7 play.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory on his deep passes, able to add touch to his vertical throws. Also does a nice job reducing the velocity of his throws for a softer delivery.
