Jahsier has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. He’s very durable within the pocket, able to sit back as he waits patiently for the play to develop. Delivers the ball with a tall platform, able to oversee the line of scrimmage. Throws with a high release point, adding height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
A major improvement in Jahsier's passing game has been his consistency in his throwing motion. As a result, this has upped his accuracy. Proper footwork prior to set up. His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding good ball placement and anticipation.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jahsier's able to hit in all areas of the field, able to create a soft release or turn up the heat when the situation calls for it. High velocity throws piercing the defense with dart-like precision. Solid vertical passing game with bombs made over coverage.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top deliver. Increased acceleration while getting the ball out in a hurry. Throws the ball with a high release point, adding extra height to his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who shows good quickness getting to the outside, solid footwork and body positioning while seeking out big play opportunities.
FOOTWORK:
Does a nice job setting up in the pocket with well-balanced stride and feet placement.
POISE:
Jahsier does a nice job staying calm within the pocket as he waits for the play to develop. Good awareness of the pass rush.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s a tall presence in the backfield, able to see the entire field for potential targets. Displays good patience and timing with his receivers. Not easily distracted, while remaining focused on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s able to hit his primary targets with good reads and decisive throws.
TOUCH:
He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws at every level, short, intermediate and long range, getting the ball in between zone coverage.
