SIZE:
Jake has very good size for a 2029 Pro Style QB at 5’7" 115 lbs. Very impressed with his maturity level and skill set. Does an excellent job leading his team downfield. An intelligent QB who understands the game. Throws with a fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added height upon release.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space around him, Jake is very accurate. He works well within the pocket while surveying the field. A quick hitting QB who gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the throws required of him. Displaying throws made of high velocity within the secondary. A legit vertical passing game, extending the field.
RELEASE:
His throws come from a high release point. An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid feet placement prior to set up of delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Jake's most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with his athletic ability to seek out potential targets.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good agility in and out of the pocket. Has worked to improve on his speed and quickness, adding to his mobility. Well balanced stride on his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
A confident QB who's not afraid to take chances downfield, especially in one-on-one situations. He works methodically as he tears apart a defense.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel of the traffic around him and able to create space for himself. Does a nice job picking up on hidden opportunities.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who understands defensive schemes. He does a nice job seeking out his primary target from quick reads.
TOUCH:
Able to work the ball in between zone coverage. Tight trajectory of throws made at longer distance.
