Scouting Report

Jake has good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 192 lbs. He shows good agility in the pocket, able to create space for himself, adding to his downfield vision. Throws with an over the top delivery adding more height to his throws.
A rhythmic passer who shows very good timing with his receivers, especially over the middle. Shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers. When given the space to set up, a very accurate passer. Loses a bit on his deeper passes.
He’s able to hit in all areas of the field with good velocity. Would like to see a quicker snap and acceleration on his release. Solid vertical range, able to extend the field with throws over coverage.
He does a nice job setting up prior to release, showing good footwork. Throws with an over the top delivery with added height from the release point.
Jake’s an athletic QB who can get to the outside quickly while on the go. He displays good vision downfield as he seeks out a potential target.
Good agility in and around the pocket. Sets up nicely prior to delivery. Not considered for his dual threat abilities but can pick up gains in short yardage situation.
Jake's a very confident QB, able to lead his team downfield. He shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. Calm under pressure.
This is one of Jake’s better attributes. He works the pocket so well, moving laterally across as he creates open passing lanes for himself. Good awareness of the defensive pressure around him.
Able to work through his progressions, going from primary to secondary outlets. Get's the ball out in a hurry, able to make quick decisions.
Jake shows good touch on his deep passes as well as the shorter routes. He’s able to make the right adjustments, depending on the passing situation.
