SIZE:
Jameson has very good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 167 lbs. Shows the ability to clear himself from traffic, creating open passing lanes. Good vision downfield, locking in on his target while picking apart the defense.
ACCURACY:
Throws with sharp precision at short and intermediate range. Able to hit his receivers while in stride with good timing and anticipation. Can work to add more consistency to his delivery in order to up his accuracy. Also working to get his feet proper set before release.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws over the middle and within tight windows of space. Solid vertical passing game with long trhows made over coverage. Would like to see a tighter trajectory and minimal air. He can hit all areas of the field.
RELEASE:
A left handed QB with an over the top release and fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Jameson's very comfortable in the pocket but can also work to the outside with good quickness and speed. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride. He’s deadly on the run, displaying strong forward momentum on his delivery.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility in and around the pocket. Moves well laterally in either direction.
POISE:
He’s not easily distracted by the noise around him. He’s a leader on the field who stays calm under pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience as he waits for his receivers' breaks. He does a nice job picking up defense pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
This is where Jameson excels. He works well through his progressions, able to checkdown from one target to another.
TOUCH:
He's a strong throwing QB who's able to ease off the velocity for a softer delivery. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory of the ball at longer distances.
