SIZE:
Jayce has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 165 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, able to do just about anything he wants against an opposing defense. His quickness allows him to use the entire field. Throws with a high release point, giving his throws added height.
ACCURACY:
Whether he’s sitting in the pocket or rolling out, Jayce's accuracy is still right on the mark. He does a nice job getting his body in-line with his receivers.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to hit in all areas of the field, with strong throws made with high velocity, especially at the short and intermediate range. Able to extend the field with his deep passing game.
RELEASE:
He throws with a classic over the top delivery, which is fully extended and comes across quickly with forward acceleration. Delivers the ball with a high release point.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Jayce works best, out in the open field. He has so many weapons in his arsenal, able to switch from passer to runner at any given moment.
FOOTWORK:
Very good speed and quickness out in the open field. Displaying elusiveness and shiftiness and he maneuvers around the defense. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups.
POISE:
A very confident QB who set the tone on the field with his ability to control the game. Very confident in his abilities to lead his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Difficult to contain within the backfield, showing excellent agility and movement. Picks up pressure quickly while doing a nice job getting away from it.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinker, able to get the ball off in a hurry. He works all of his receiver options, locating the one with the best opportunity for positive gain.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength. Very nice touch pass for a Dual Threat QB, especially while on the run.
